Job Title: Diet Clerk
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Diet Clerk to join our team at Unidine. As a Diet Clerk, you will be responsible for patient menu management, data collection, and diet office functions.
Key Responsibilities- Distribute and collect menus to ensure accurate patient menu management.
- Assist patients in completing menu selections in compliance with prescribed diets.
- Offer alternatives to menu items as allowed on prescribed diets.
- Plan regular and modified menus based on current diet manuals.
- Prepare and distribute supplements, tube feedings, and enteral formula in a timely manner.
- Manage human/donor milk and/or infant formula inventory and distribution.
- Adhere to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient's rights policies.
- Comply with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state, and TJC.
- Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs.
- Follow facility and department infection-control policies and procedures.
- Participate in facility-wide and department Performance Improvement Program.
