We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Engineer - Senior Design Manager to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our engineering division, you will be responsible for managing the engineering design process of piping engineers and designers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement piping design strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead a team of piping engineers and designers to deliver high-quality design solutions.
  • Conduct structural calculations to support pipe design and verification, and apply expert knowledge to develop innovative solutions to technically challenging projects.
  • Develop piping schematics and layouts based on customer requirements and specifications.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, correspondence, procedures, specifications, and technical calculations.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in offshore or marine piping engineering.
  • Highly knowledgeable in offshore piping design and codes.
  • Expert in use of pipe stress analysis with Caesar II Software, and AutoCAD.
  • Possesses a basic knowledge of offshore production process requirements and the capability of developing P&IDs from customer specifications.
  • Familiar with risk assessment concepts and methods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expert with Excel.
  • Experience with PDMS.
