Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers in the pipe yard.
  • Enforce safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare and direct the preparation of correspondence, reports, and operations, maintenance, and safety manuals.
  • Confer with department heads to coordinate the storage of materials in the warehouse.
  • Conduct employee training in equipment operations and work and safety procedures.
  • Develop and implement standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, and storing products and materials.
  • Develop and implement plans for facility optimization for inventory storage.
  • Maintain records of employees' attendance and hours worked.
  • Prepare management reports of production results.
  • Determine standards, budgets, production goals, and rates based on company policies, equipment, and labor availability.
  • Confer with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or grievances.
  • Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.
  • Examine products or materials to estimate quantities or weight and type of container required for storage or transport.
  • Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience; Pettibone operator experience preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, RF Smart, Oracle/JD Edwards preferred.
  • Certification/Licenses: None specifically required.
