We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at Lee's Summit Medical Center. As a RN Cardiac Cath Lab, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

About the Role

The Cardiac Cath Lab nurse is responsible for preparing patients for various cardiac procedures, including catheterization and angioplasty. This requires a high level of critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for cardiac procedures, including catheterization and angioplasty
  • Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current MO RN license or a current multistate RN license
  • BSN preferred
  • Minimum of one year nursing experience in a cardiology-related field
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of employment
