Position Overview:
The Evening Clinical Manager for Mobile Crisis Intervention - Cape Cod is responsible for providing direct evaluation and consultation services to individuals in crisis, both children and adults.
This role involves supervising operations at an Urgent Care Center, offering on-site assessments and support, as well as mobile assessments at clients' homes, schools, or agencies in Cape Cod.
The Evening Clinical Manager collaborates within an integrated urgent care and emergency support services network, working alongside clients, their families, law enforcement, community partners, and the mobile crisis team in a professional, hopeful, and respectful manner to ensure that clients' needs are effectively addressed.
This is an exempt position.
Supervisory Duties:
- Oversee MCI Clinicians
- Supervise Clinical Interns
- Manage other staff as necessary
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals in crisis, prioritizing their safety and needs.
- Assist individuals in crisis with engagement or re-engagement in necessary services, utilizing community-based health, behavioral health, and social services to address the crisis.
- Provide brief treatment and support until appropriate community services can be accessed, minimizing reliance on acute inpatient services.
- Supervise evening staff, interns, and support personnel, including participation in an administrative on-call rotation, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Document all assessments and interventions in accordance with program and Bay Cove standards.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, families, law enforcement, community partners, and the ESP team in a professional, hopeful, and respectful manner to ensure client safety.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field is required. Independently Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent) is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of experience providing services to adults with mental health challenges.
- At least one year of supervisory and management experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to de-escalate crises effectively, ensuring safety for all involved and providing optimal care for individuals in crisis.
- Physical ability to climb stairs and carry up to 40 pounds, as well as assist individuals with mobility impairments when necessary.
- Possession of a current, valid state-issued driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for work-related travel.
