About the Role

As a Certified Respiratory Therapist at LewisGale Hospital Pulaski, you will be part of a dynamic team providing top-notch respiratory care to our patients. Your expertise will be invaluable in administering routine treatment modalities, gathering arterial blood gas samples, and performing analysis and reporting results to physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer routine treatment modalities, including CPT, Nebulizer Treatments, and oxygen therapy, according to physician orders and policy.
  • Gather arterial blood gas samples, perform analysis, and report results to physicians.
  • Perform ventilator, BiPAP, and CPAP set up, making any necessary changes.
  • Conduct weaning parameters and extubations.
  • Perform EKGs and PFTs.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved Respiratory (CRT/RRT) Program.
  • Current license in good standing.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Experience preferred.
