Role Overview:
As a Lead Technical Program Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding high-impact initiatives from initial concept through to execution. You will facilitate collaboration across various teams, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and meet or surpass expectations. Your proficiency in program management will be essential in steering our ambitious agenda, aiding in the development and enhancement of our offerings and processes.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring in-office collaboration on designated days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Deliver clear, timely, and objective updates to senior leadership, including regular project status reports and escalation of critical issues.
- Strategic Execution: Ensure the timely delivery and implementation of projects, managing development requirements and providing progress updates. Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to guarantee seamless project execution.
- Program Oversight: Create and manage project timelines, identifying dependencies and critical paths, while applying a systematic approach to reporting status. Assess risks, devise mitigation strategies, and adjust plans as necessary to align with organizational goals.
- Problem Resolution: Proactively identify and address challenges by coordinating with various teams to prioritize tasks and manage risks related to timelines and product quality.
- Best Practices Implementation: Foster continuous improvement and operational excellence. Oversee strategic alignment, resource distribution, and risk management to ensure commitments are fulfilled.
- Education and Guidance: Act as the subject matter expert on the Product Development Lifecycle Process (PDLC), providing education and guidance to the team on its application and implementation.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical program management within consumer technology, particularly in rapidly evolving sectors such as mobile applications or subscription-based services.
- Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to structure and oversee multiple concurrent work streams.
- Proven capability to translate complex requirements from various stakeholders into actionable project plans.
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and leading through influence to achieve project objectives.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Google Suite, and Figma.
- Strong communication skills with a knack for fostering constructive feedback and collaboration.
- Experience in both PDLC and SDLC methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale, high-visibility cross-functional projects.
