We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bridge Inspection Project Manager to join our team in Denver, CO.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in bridge inspection (NBIS) with CDOT and other transportation clients. They will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and performing CDOT bridge inspections in accordance with specific Bridge Owners' requirements, while ensuring compliance with National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) and the AASHTO Manual for Condition Evaluation of Bridges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaison with client field/facility staff
  • Lead/assist with communicating critical condition findings
  • Direct other field team members
  • Enforce safe operations in the field
  • Create or assist with creating and/or reviewing all required inspection reports
  • Ensure technical compliance with applicable standards and specifications

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution, 10+ years of experience in bridge inspection (NBIS) with CDOT and other transportation clients, project management experience, attendance of NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges course, and additional NHI courses such as NSTM, LRFR, and Scour related.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional FHWA/NHI Training - Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges/Nonredundant Steel Tension Steel Members, Inspection and Maintenance of Ancillary Highway Structures, and Tunnel Safety Inspection. Experience with inspecting complex bridges and/or tunnels for CDOT, ancillary sign structures for CDOT and other transportation agencies, familiar with or certifications in various NDT techniques and UAS applications, rope access techniques and/or UAS operations.
