The Evening Fleet Service Technician plays a crucial role in providing repair and on-site installation services for a diverse range of veterinary equipment. This position requires adherence to manufacturer guidelines concerning the operation, repair, maintenance, and installation of various equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation, Maintenance, and Repair: Independently address assigned customer service requests, diagnosing issues and executing necessary repairs.
  • Equipment Management: Responsible for the repair, loading, delivery, installation, and specification of equipment in compliance with manufacturer, federal, and state regulations.
  • Training: Educate customers on the proper use and basic maintenance of equipment at their location.
  • Documentation: Complete all required service documentation, including service orders, confirmations, inventory reports, expense reports, and time sheets.
  • Customer Relations: Maintain strong customer relationships by providing ongoing technical support post-installation and ensuring service commitments are met within standard response times.
  • Inventory Management: Assess parts, supplies, or tools needed for service requests and manage vehicle inventory, conducting bi-annual physical audits.
  • Asset Management: Ensure the proper maintenance of company assets, including phones, computers, tools, and uniforms.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • 0-5 years of experience in a veterinary, medical, or dental environment.
  • Proficiency in Windows-based PC applications.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • A minimum of 4 years as a Certified, Licensed, or Registered Veterinary Technician is preferred.
  • Experience with SAP and technical training in bio-medical, electronics, or related fields.
Working Conditions

This role involves travel to customer locations, requiring overnight stays. Candidates should be prepared to work in environments that may include hazardous chemicals and biohazard materials.
