Job Summary

The Army National Guard is seeking a skilled Quarrying Specialist to join our team. As a Quarrying Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment used in the quarrying process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate air compressors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic-powered rock drills, rock crushers, and screening equipment
  • Run the support equipment during crushing and screening (e.g. generators, conveyors, light sets, and pumps)
  • Maintain and repair equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Assist in the blasting and crushing of rock to produce gravel and stones for construction projects

  • Interest in operating heavy machinery and equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
