Job Summary

The Army National Guard is seeking a skilled Quarrying Specialist to join their team. As a Quarrying Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy machinery and equipment used in the quarrying process. This includes operating air compressors, pneumatic tools, hydraulic-powered rock drills, rock crushers, and screening equipment. You will also be responsible for running support equipment during crushing and screening, such as generators, conveyors, light sets, and pumps.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain heavy machinery and equipment used in the quarrying process
  • Run support equipment during crushing and screening
  • Maintain and repair equipment as needed
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries

Requirements

  • Must be at least 17 years old
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
