Creative Visionary

Chase Design Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Director to lead our design team in the Los Angeles office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing the creative direction for our design staff and overseeing the production process. You will work closely with our Exec. Creative Director, Creative Director, and clients to cultivate and maintain strong relationships. This role requires a creative and hands-on individual with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to motivate and manage team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex design projects across various media, categories, and brands
• Develop strategically sound creative solutions
• Oversee all phases of work, including research, strategy, concept exploration, design development, and finalization
• Craft and deliver client-facing presentations
• Direct a diverse team of creatives, including graphic designers, illustrators, and motion designers
• Experience in identity design, brand systems, packaging, print production, environmental design, digital, and motion design
• Adhere to project timelines, manage project scope, and communicate project status to internal partners
• Provide quality control on all completed projects to ensure design quality and production accuracy

Requirements:

• A self-starter with a degree in graphic design or illustration
• 5-6 years' experience working in a director-level capacity on large-scale CPG brands
• Extremely proficient in Adobe CS programs, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Experience with 3D and motion design is a plus
• Extensive knowledge of print pre-press and production
• Exceptional typography and strong hand skills
• Ability to manage shifting priorities, tight deadlines, and last-minute requests
• Travel is a requirement of this position for client needs
