Transform Apple's Privacy Framework
A challenging opportunity has arisen within the Apple Service Engineering team for a Privacy Continuous Compliance Engineer. This key role involves ensuring that our infrastructure and applications comply with emerging privacy regulations and standards.
About the Role
We're looking for an expert in privacy compliance who can assess our systems against new laws, identify gaps, and develop remediation plans. You will work closely with engineering teams to implement these plans, collaborating with legal and privacy teams across Apple. Your expertise will also contribute to the development of new Apple policies and implementation of relevant processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and Remediate: Evaluate ASE infrastructure and applications against evolving privacy laws, identifying areas for improvement and developing comprehensive remediation plans.
- Compliance Oversight: Develop and implement dashboards to track continuous compliance, working closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Policy Development: Contribute to the creation of new Apple policies and procedures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with engineering, legal, and privacy teams, providing guidance on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Communication and Reporting: Effectively communicate complex regulatory information to stakeholders, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
Requirements
- 5+ Years of Experience: Proven track record in privacy compliance, continuous compliance, or data governance, with a deep understanding of emerging regulations like GDPR, CCPA, DMA, DSA, and HIPAA.
- Expertise in Automation: Proficiency in automation tools and technologies, with experience in report writing, analysis, and compliance procedures.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Bachelor's Degree: Relevant degree in a field such as law, computer science, or business administration.

Salary Range: The base pay for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, dependent on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. At Apple, we offer competitive salaries and opportunities for growth and development within the company.
