Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Railroad Safety Inspector to join our team at National Railroad Safety Services, Inc. (NRSS). This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong knowledge of railroad safety regulations, procedures, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide jobsite coordination and ensure compliance with all railroad, state, and federal policies.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites to identify potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with railroad personnel, contractors, and clients.
  • Prepare and submit daily field reports detailing contractor and/or railroad activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in civil construction inspection, railroad safety, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA, FRA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
