Position Summary
We are excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a dedicated and skilled individual to join a thriving and reputable locally owned dining establishment. We are in search of a passionate and experienced Assistant Culinary Leader to manage and direct this Italian restaurant's $2.3 million dining and catering operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of authentic Italian cuisine, ensuring adherence to high culinary standards.
- Design and implement innovative and enticing menu items, with approximately 25% of the menu being chef-driven.
- Maintain a commitment to sourcing the finest local ingredients and sustainable resources.
- Exhibit strong skills in high-volume line and prep work.
- Ensure consistent execution of menu items with the utmost quality.
- Proactively manage costs to achieve established profitability targets.
- Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to kitchen staff with enthusiasm.
- Prioritize delivering an exceptional guest experience.
- Demonstrate strong operational knowledge in sanitation and food safety practices.
- Familiarity with ChefTec software is advantageous, though not required.
Compensation and Benefits
The starting salary range for this position is between $42,000 and $55,000, which includes a monthly profitability bonus. Additional discretionary bonuses may be available.
We offer a balanced work schedule to promote a quality lifestyle, along with employer-paid medical insurance and paid vacation (1 week after one year, 2 weeks after three years).
