Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Serva Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying business problems and areas of concern that affect efficiency, analyzing data and building financial models for forecasting and budgeting, and coordinating with other departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify business problems and areas of concern that affect efficiency
  • Analyze data and build financial models for forecasting and budgeting
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Maintain documentation regarding training and safety procedures
  • Manage safety and cybersecurity training, and follow and assist with workers comp claims
  • Audit timecard system for attendance and PTO
  • Review and approve expense reports as assigned by the VP of Finance
  • Track new hire evaluations and performance with hiring managers
  • Participate in evaluating, reviewing and implementing HRIS system
Requirements
  • Commitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing techniques, processes and procedures
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Solid analytical and strategic planning skills
  • Proficient in problem analysis and resolution
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
  • Strong team builder and player
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or combination of education
  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience
Work Environment

The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas where all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes and other mandatory safety equipment.

Physical Demands
  • Sitting or standing as needed
  • Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day
  • Reaching, pushing, pulling or lifting as required within limits set by Serva Group
