Job Summary

The Motor Induction Equip Repair Maintainer First Class will perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Repair and maintenance of induction motors, generators, and other electrical equipment
  • Performing visual inspections, tests, and repairs on electrical and mechanical components
  • Using specialized tools and equipment, such as gauges, meters, and micrometers
  • Reading and interpreting schematics, prints, and other technical documents
  • Understanding electrical and basic electronic theory and practices
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on induction equipment
  • Conducting visual inspections and tests to identify potential issues
  • Using specialized tools and equipment to repair and maintain electrical and mechanical components
  • Reading and interpreting technical documents to ensure accurate repairs
  • Working with a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our transportation systems
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational training in electrical or mechanical repair
  • At least one year of experience in the repair of DC current motors and armatures
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents
  • Understanding of electrical and basic electronic theory and practices
