Job SummaryThe Motor Induction Equip Repair Maintainer First Class will perform a variety of tasks, including:
- Repair and maintenance of induction motors, generators, and other electrical equipment
- Performing visual inspections, tests, and repairs on electrical and mechanical components
- Using specialized tools and equipment, such as gauges, meters, and micrometers
- Reading and interpreting schematics, prints, and other technical documents
- Understanding electrical and basic electronic theory and practices
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on induction equipment
- Conducting visual inspections and tests to identify potential issues
- Using specialized tools and equipment to repair and maintain electrical and mechanical components
- Reading and interpreting technical documents to ensure accurate repairs
- Working with a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our transportation systems
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training in electrical or mechanical repair
- At least one year of experience in the repair of DC current motors and armatures
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents
- Understanding of electrical and basic electronic theory and practices
