About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at Niemann Foods. As a Shift Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of associates to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager in maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and ensuring that all customers are acknowledged and concerns are resolved quickly.
- Manage associate schedules during your assigned shift and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain the front end of the restaurant, ensuring that customers receive quick and friendly service.
- Process information and product through the computer system and POS register system.
- Operate and maintain all equipment necessary to run the restaurant, including ovens, mixers, and cutters.
- Control shrink expenses and labor, ensuring that our restaurant operates within budget.
- Assist at all stations where needed, providing support to your team and ensuring that all tasks are completed.
- Follow all Little Caesars programs and promotions, ensuring that our restaurant is up-to-date on all marketing initiatives.
- Follow all mandated open and restaurant closing policies and procedures, communicating any concerns to management.
- Ensure that the restaurant is clean and safe before leaving, meeting our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Ensure compliance with all laws, policies, and procedures, acting as a representative of Niemann Foods in the community.
- Act as a leader, inspiring and motivating your team to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- One to three months related experience and/or training;
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals;
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence;
- Ability to present information and respond to questions from customers or associates;
- Basic math concepts, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication;
- Manager Food Handlers Certificate provided at restaurant level.
