We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Superintendent to join our team at Jobot. As a Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations on the construction site and controlling the short-term schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all stages of project life cycle and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Manage all site construction activities and supervise field personnel as required to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities, including those of trade contractors.
- Maintain construction schedule, identify and solve problems.
- Ensure project documents are complete and identify areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures on site.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved contracts, drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Conduct regular meetings with project team to discuss progress and address issues.
- Utilize project management software, such as Procore, to track project progress and manage resources.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Senior Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Extensive experience in high-rise and vertical commercial construction.
- Proficient in using construction management software, particularly Procore.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of construction procedures, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Ability to plan and organize a team effort.
- Good client management and goodwill building capability.
- Capacity to motivate, lead, and boost morale of the teams.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
