Nuvance Health is a prominent healthcare provider with a network of hospitals and outpatient facilities. We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team, providing exceptional care in various settings.
Qualifications:
- Education: Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing is required, unless applying for a Residency position.
- Licensure: Must hold a current Registered Professional Nurse license in New York State. BLS certification for healthcare providers is required within three months of hire and must be renewed annually.
Work Environment:
This position is located in a dynamic healthcare setting, offering a per diem work schedule with standard hours of 12.00. The work shift involves day hours, specifically a commitment of 1 shift of 12 hours per week, including one winter and one summer holiday, as well as every third weekend.

The role is situated within the Surgical 4 North - Ortho department, contributing to the overall mission of providing high-quality patient care.
Physical Requirements:
Essential physical demands include:
- Significant manual dexterity and coordination.
- Ability to handle significant occupational risks.
- Capacity to exert very heavy effort, potentially lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to various environmental factors, including noise and odors.
