Patient Care Specialist

Nuvance Health offers a dynamic environment for healthcare professionals to grow and develop their skills. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse or a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, quiet, and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
Demonstrate accountability for job responsibility and functions.
Provide direct quality care and service to patients of all ages under the directions of the Unit Manager/designee.
Requirements:
Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
Licensure/Registration/Certification: CNA preferred. BLS certification for health care provider within 3 months and recertification annually.
Work Experience: Recent experience as a nurse aide, phlebotomist, or EKG technician preferred.
Working Conditions:
Manual: significant manual skills/motor coordination and finger dexterity.
Occupational: Significant occupational risk.
Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force.
Physical Environment: Significant exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
