Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Nursing to join our leadership team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department and ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care.
Responsibilities
- Nursing Department Oversight: Lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care and that our staff is properly trained and supported.
- Staff Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff.
- Quality Improvement: Collaborate with our quality improvement team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our nursing department is in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with our patients, families, and healthcare team to ensure that our patients receive seamless and coordinated care.
Requirements
- Current RN License: Must have a valid, current RN license for the state of Maryland.
- Nursing Degree: Nursing degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Leadership Experience: Three (3) years or more years of experience as a manager in a nursing care Center, hospital or other related health care Center.
- Rehabilitative and Restorative Nursing Experience: Must have, as a minimum of two (2) years of experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
