Role Summary:
This position involves managing triage calls from Monday to Friday, starting at 5 PM and concluding at 8 AM. The role typically includes an average of 2 visits and 2 calls each night, allowing for a full-time salary while working approximately 15-20 hours weekly. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who prefer working during nighttime hours, with no weekend shifts required. Compensation can reach up to $75,000 based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to triage calls and provide necessary patient visits.
- Demonstrate strong nursing judgment and effective communication skills.
- Maintain compliance with professional standards and practices.
- Document patient interactions and care provided in a timely manner.
- Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Active RN License in Pennsylvania.
- A minimum of one year of nursing experience; hospice experience is advantageous.
- Possession of a vehicle, valid driver's license, and car insurance.
- Understanding of hospice care principles and the needs of terminally ill patients.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling job responsibilities.
- Positive references from previous employers or professional colleagues.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
- Presentation of a negative TB test or chest X-ray as mandated by state regulations.
