Dishroom Attendant

This is an exciting opportunity to join our environmental services team as a Dishroom Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all dishware, equipment, and facilities are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual who can perform the following duties:

• Maintain a clean and organized dishroom, including washing, rinsing, and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and equipment;
• Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely and efficiently;
• Sweep, mop, and clean floors, walls, and ceilings to prevent slips, trips, and falls;
• Empties, cleans, and sanitizes trash cans and recycling bins;
• Perform heavy cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers;
• Attend all required training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and procedures;
• Contribute to a positive and respectful work environment by demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills;

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following requirements:

• A valid Food Handler Certificate;
• Proof of Vaccinations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Influenza, and TB skin test);
• The ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 60 pounds;
• The ability to stand for long periods, walk, and bend/stoop frequently;
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service;
• An ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision;
