Job Title: Dishroom Attendant

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team at Common Bond Cafe.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the dishroom area. Ensure all dishes, glasses, and utensils are properly washed, sanitized, and stored. Assist in the maintenance of dishwashing equipment and report any issues to the Chef or Supervisor. Remove trash and recyclables from the dishroom area regularly. Ensure the dishroom area remains free of clutter and unnecessary items. Uphold the standard of a professional restaurant image, including kitchen cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.

Requirements:

Food Handler's Card where required by local and state health code regulations. Ability to work an 8-hour shift standing up. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to learn quickly and understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Ability to work as part of a team and cultivate a culture of teamwork.
