Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to medically fragile children and adults in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities- Implement physician-prescribed plans of care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by the physician
- Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
- Provide health education and training to family members and caregivers
- Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, with co-signature from the Case Manager
- Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Managers on patient concerns and changes in condition
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
- TB skin test (current within the last 12 months)
- Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
