Overview


The Senior SAP MM Solution Analyst is tasked with ensuring that SAP MM technology solutions meet business needs and achieve desired outcomes.


This position will collaborate with subject matter experts to conduct gap analyses and define processes as part of various projects and system enhancements, while also providing exceptional service for break-fix incidents.

Specialized Skills and Technologies

- Proven, hands-on configuration experience in SAP MM, including plants, storage locations, material master data, vendor master data, purchase orders, batch inventory management, and logistics invoice verification (MIRO)
- Demonstrated knowledge of SAP MM configuration and module integration with SAP SD, WM, and FICO, particularly COPA
- Strong understanding of workflow and supplier Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), including 810, 850, 846, 855, 856, and 865
- Familiarity with interfaces involving non-SAP applications, including but not limited to EDI, file transfer, API, and XML
- Ability to comprehend business requirements, draft functional specifications, collaborate with developers, test, and support custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflow (RICEFW) objects
- Experience with both waterfall and Agile methodologies
- SAP upgrade experience is advantageous (especially from ECC to S/4 HANA)
- Experience with ServiceNow is a plus
Primary Responsibilities

- Serve as a lead/subject matter expert (SME) within the Solution Analyst team
- Apply system solutions to business requirements through the design and configuration of systems platforms and applications
- Lead the creation of business and technical process documentation and training materials
- Define project requirements by identifying milestones, phases, and elements; assist with project budget considerations
- Monitor project progress by tracking activities, resolving issues, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions
- Act as a liaison between Business Divisions/Functions and IT on projects and enhancements
- Mentor and support the development of junior Solution Analyst team members
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business Analysis, Data Management, or Business Intelligence
- 5+ years of experience in a business or technology role, closely collaborating with functions outside of IT to understand business processes and needs
- Extensive experience in systems development lifecycle models such as Agile or other traditional project management principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of business processes and the ability to design, configure, and implement solutions to support them
- Experience leading Behavior-Driven-Design (BDD) processes
- Experience in gathering requirements to facilitate the automation of acceptance tests
- Proven ability to build consensus and gain buy-in from key stakeholders
- Ability to embody Agile delivery values of openness, commitment, respect, courage, and focus
Physical Demands

Physical demands include significant time spent sitting and typing/keyboarding, utilizing a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine. Physical activity may involve walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping. May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs.
