Job Title: Certified Athletic Trainer

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

Job Summary:

The Certified Athletic Trainer will provide athletic training services to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This includes evaluating, treating, and planning patient care in accordance with athletic training standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and treat patients with athletic injuries and conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to promote patient recovery and well-being
  • Provide education to patients and families on athletic training and injury prevention
  • Document patient care and treatment plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of athletic training standards and practices
  • Completion of a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training from a CAATE-accredited program
  • Post-graduate education in an area of specialization and experience in general practice of athletic training
  • Previous experience as an Athletic Trainer is beneficial
  • Clinical Specialist certification beneficial
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license and automobile liability insurance
  • Current Wisconsin licensure to practice athletic training
  • Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire
