Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Interim HealthCare of Central Oregon. As a Caregiver, you will provide personal care and assistance to seniors, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assistance to seniors, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, shopping, and transportation
  • Help with mobility, transfers, and exercises to maintain physical function and independence
  • Remind clients about medications, document conditions, and report any concerns to a supervisor
  • Maintain a safe and clean home environment
  • Engage clients in activities such as puzzles, games, and hobbies to promote mental and emotional well-being

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months of caregiving experience, preferred
  • CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
