Position Summary:
The Environmental Quality Assurance Manager will possess substantial experience at a similar level of responsibility, supporting the quality assurance, environmental, and sustainability objectives of technical maintenance and repair initiatives comparable in size and complexity to those within the CBP Arizona Region Facilities, which encompass 138 facilities across 27 sites, totaling 1.38 million square feet.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution of work by CMI personnel and subcontractors.
- Ensure all CMI operations are environmentally compliant.
- Provide the Government with compliant products and services while collaborating on the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan.
- Develop and oversee the Quality Control Plan for the contract.
- Guide quality control technicians in their daily tasks and necessary inspections.
- Work with client personnel to facilitate joint quality inspections as required.
- Coordinate with CMI corporate and site management to ensure all quality personnel are up-to-date on compliance requirements.
- Manage the tracking, documentation, and disposal of hazardous waste generated during preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with permit requirements.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Environmental Systems Management, or a related field preferred.
- At least three (3) years of experience in quality control management for contracts of similar size and scope, with leadership experience managing quality control inspectors; five (5) years preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in environmental control duties on contracts of similar size and scope.
