The Village Market is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Store Team Leader to join our team. As a Key Carrier, you will be responsible for leading the store team in maintaining all aspects of the store, including customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Role modeling exceptional customer service
  • Creating a positive internal and external customer experience
  • Promoting a culture of honesty and integrity; maintaining confidentiality
  • Acting as Manager on Duty in adherence with company policy and procedure
  • Ensuring store team executes tasks and daily activities in accordance with store plan; reprioritizing as needed
  • Addressing immediate customer service issues and providing appropriate coaching to Associates
  • Maintaining proper Associate coverage in service areas for a positive customer experience
  • Ensuring Associates adhere to all operational procedures

We are looking for an individual who has open availability, including nights and weekends, and can work effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and ability to act quickly under challenging circumstances are essential.

In addition, we require:

  • One year retail experience
  • Six months leadership experience
  • A flexible schedule to support business needs
