Role Overview:

The HR Information Systems Specialist plays a crucial role in the enhancement, testing, deployment, and ongoing management of human resource information systems (HRIS). This position acts as a technical liaison and supervises user acceptance testing for system modifications, report generation, and the analysis of workflows to identify areas for improvement and to optimize HR systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct system maintenance, including the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS modules.
  • Collaborate with both functional and technical teams to coordinate application upgrades and fixes.
  • Maintain HRMS system tables and document processes and outcomes.
  • Provide production support by troubleshooting HRMS issues and recommending solutions.
  • Enhance HRIS processes by integrating software and systems for a streamlined operation.
  • Perform audits on HR processes and data, taking informed actions based on findings.
  • Stay updated on current trends in HRMS, focusing on product development and support.
  • Propose process improvements and innovative solutions for leadership approval.
  • Facilitate training sessions and develop user manuals and guidelines.
  • Create and maintain essential structural data within the system.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Core HR and various Oracle Cloud HCM modules.
  • At least 7 years of combined experience in Information Systems.
  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries and Fast Formula.
  • Strong understanding of data/system design principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with programming languages and PL/SQL is preferred.
  • Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience with project management tools.
