Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:
Bay Area Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a licensed independent practitioner, you will manage cardiology patients under the direction of the Cardiovascular Service Director.
Responsibilities:
• Exercises good judgment and demonstrates effective critical thinking skills
• Flexible and able to prioritize and address multiple responsibilities concurrently
• Works effectively under stress and frequently changing job requirements/situations
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Maintains confidentiality and thinks and acts independently with minimal supervision
• Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location
• Interpersonal skills necessary to work productively with patient, families, other healthcare staff, and other departments
• Basic computer skills
Requirements:
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Oregon license (or willing to obtain)
• Minimum 1+ year of work experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
• Ability to work weekends occasionally
