Job Title: Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Bay Area Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing cardiology patients under the direction of the Cardiovascular Service Director.

Job Summary:

This is a full-time position with day shift hours, 10-40 hours per week. The successful candidate will have the ability to work weekends occasionally. The Cardiology Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for managing a caseload of 15-18 patients per day in the outpatient clinic and 6-8 patients per day in the cath lab.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage cardiology patients under the direction of the Cardiovascular Service Director
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide education to patients and families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Oregon license (or willing to obtain)
  • Previous work experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (preferred)
