Job Overview

Gateway Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated PRN - Corrections Monitor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of patients enrolled in our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee patient movements within the facility.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation.
  • Stay informed about all facility regulations and policies.
  • Assist with patient intakes and orientation processes.
  • Conduct drug screenings for patients.
  • Verify patient movements through communication with employers.
  • Engage with families of patients on approved furloughs.
  • Perform random inspections of patient rooms.
  • Transport patients as required.
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients as authorized.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
Additional Requirements
  • Successful completion of a PA Criminal Background Check.
  • Obtain Child Abuse and FBI Clearances.
  • Pass a Drug Test and TB Test.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Acquire CPR certification.
  • Flexibility in work schedule is essential.
Work Environment
  • Corrections facility setting.
  • Various shift options available.
  • Must remain alert and attentive while on duty.
