About the Role

LEAD Staffing is seeking an experienced Preventative Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role will be based in Victoria, TX.

Key Responsibilities
  • We are looking for a skilled technician to perform preventative maintenance services on heavy equipment, including diesel and non-diesel vehicles, to ensure safe and productive operations.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience inspecting trucks and/or heavy equipment for condition, operation, and fluid levels, identifying and designating problems with equipment.
  • Ongoing maintenance tasks include power washing equipment as necessary, checking and filling fluids for engine, transmission, differentials, final drives, pump drives, and hubs, greasing, oiling, and lubricating components during preventive maintenance service.
  • We require someone who can adjust various systems during preventative maintenance service, maintain and change air, oil, coolant, and fuel filters, and perform cooling systems maintenance.
  • The selected candidate will also be responsible for checking safety equipment on trucks and/or equipment, inspecting tires according to Republic Services Tire Maintenance Standards, and completing paperwork associated with preventative maintenance services.
  • A strong focus on teamwork and effective communication is essential for this role, as well as maintaining accurate records and reports.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and State ID required.
  • No felonies in the last 7 years.
  • Prior PM experience or some mechanical experience with heavy equipment.
