Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Banquet Sous Chef to join our team at a luxury resort hotel in Wisconsin. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of banquet operations, ensuring high culinary standards, and contributing to the prestigious dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional food quality and service.
- Assist in the creation of menu recipes, specials, and inventory orders to ensure consistency and quality.
- Run the line and entire kitchen in the absence of the Chef, ensuring seamless operations.
- Develop and implement standards, train employees on menus, recipes, and cooking procedures.
- Cater to large-scale events for guests, providing exceptional service and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of Sous Chef (or higher) experience in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
- At least 2 years of experience in Banquet operations within a 5-star hotel or resort.
- Excellent communication and computer skills to effectively manage teams and systems.
- A strong willingness to provide exceptional service to residents, guests, and peers.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
