Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Methodist ER De Zavala Rd. As a CT Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures
  • Position patients for optimal image quality and safety
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as needed
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field preferred
  • Current certification as a registered technologist (RT) in computed tomography (CT) or radiography (R)
  • 1-2 years of experience in computed tomography or radiography; experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed
