About the Role

As a Clinical Research Nurse in our Neurology department, you will play a critical role in advancing the field of clinical practice through research studies. You will work closely with our principal investigator to prepare, evaluate, and implement research studies, ensuring their operational feasibility, budget development, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and prepare research studies for implementation, including assessment of operational feasibility and budget development.
  • Prepare IRB documents and institute protocol operations, including generation of data collection tools and case report forms.
  • Attend study meetings and serve as primary coordinator/project manager on research studies with low or moderate regulatory, clinical, and operational complexity.
  • Support the PI and research team members in their roles.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a health or science-related field.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - State of Michigan Upon Hire.
  • Shipping and Handling of Specimen Training Certification within 90 Days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association within 90 Days or Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross within 90 Days.
  • 1 year of relevant experience in clinical research and project management.
  • Preferred: RN with both Neurology and/or Research experience.
