Marine Junior Assembler Job Description

Milwaukee Valve Company is seeking a skilled Marine Junior Assembler to join our team in Prairie Du Sac, WI. This role involves learning the process of assembling and operating assembly machines according to directions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learn the operation of hand or bench type power tools.
  • Learn the operation of air and hydro testers.
  • Learn how to read and interpret instructions on test reports.
  • Apply sealants, greases, and thread locker as called out on test reports.
  • Learn to disassemble and repair product.
  • Minor material handling and stocking required.
  • Use of hoist and other lifting equipment.
  • Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, routers, test reports, and bill of materials.
  • Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
