Milwaukee Valve Company is seeking a skilled Marine Junior Assembler to join our Prairie Du Sac, WI team in Department 030. This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $19.12 with a 3.5% shift premium.
Key Responsibilities:- Learn the operation of hand or bench type power tools.
- Operate air and hydro testers.
- Read and interpret instructions on test reports.
- Apply sealants, greases, and thread locker as called out on test reports.
- Disassemble and repair products.
- Perform minor material handling and stocking.
- Use hoist and other lifting equipment.
- Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Mathematical skills to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
The work environment is dynamic, with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate to loud noise levels.
