Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Consultant to join our team at Experis. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile large, unreconciled balances in deferred revenue and unbilled receivables accounts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform detailed analysis and reconciliation of ending balances provided by other operating companies prior to system integration, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Documentation and Communication: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of reconciliation processes and findings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with accounting standards.
Requirements:
  • Accounting Expertise: In-depth understanding of and experience with Percentage of Completion (POC) Accounting, with a strong background in financial analysis and reconciliation.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis tools, with experience with NetSuite ERP, Financial Force, and Salesforce a plus.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on reconciliation and deferred revenue/revenue recognition.
