Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage business credit applications under $250K, identify and refer larger lending opportunities, and promote treasury and related small business offerings.
  • Develop referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) initiative.
  • Assist in strategies aimed at expanding the small business client base and execute targeted sales plans for Book of Business customers.
  • Conduct client services, including outbound and inbound calls, to establish new relationships and strengthen existing ones through the cross-selling of relevant products and services while ensuring an exceptional client experience.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to Tellers and other branch personnel on products and special programs, identifying client needs, and facilitating appropriate referrals.
  • Recognize clients' transactional needs, educate them on all service and digital channels, and utilize available technology and marketing tools to uncover opportunities, presenting tailored product offers and financial solutions.
  • Adhere to Citibank policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Evaluate risks in business decisions, prioritizing the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, upholding ethical standards in personal conduct and business practices, and transparently managing and reporting control issues.
Qualifications:
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred background in banking, retail, or sales.
  • Familiarity with Smart Banking tools and technologies.
  • NMLS registration; compliant with the Safe Act.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms.
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
