Job Summary

The Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana (RHI) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Inpatient Spinal Cord or Stroke Unit. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation services to patients with life-changing injuries or illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

Administer OT evaluations to inpatients and outpatients, determining appropriate treatment programs and equipment needs.
Develop patient-centered treatment plans based on evaluations, patient goals, and age-related issues/needs.
Ensure treatment plans support medical necessity and incorporate evidence-based treatments and outcome measures.
Accurately complete documentation in compliance with department and regulatory timelines.
Provide clinical supervision to assistants, techs, and students, ensuring patient care intervention is appropriate for the patient's plan of care.

Requirements

Must possess an Occupational Therapy Degree from an accredited program.
Must be registered/certified by National Board for Certification of OTs.
Occupational Therapist IN state license required.
Must have current CPR certification in accordance with AHA standards or be able to obtain it within 4 weeks of the start date.
