**Mission Critical: Collecting Clothing and Shoes for the Homeless**

As the weather starts to get colder, HandsOn San Diego is partnering with PATH San Diego to collect an assortment of clothing items and shoes to help keep all of their clients warm this winter.

The clothing items most needed are:

  • Sweatshirts
  • Jackets
  • Long sleeved shirts
  • Pants
  • Sweatpants
  • Jeans
  • Shoes
  • Hats

Men's items especially are in high need. Gently used clothing is okay; although PATH is unable to accept anything with holes or stains. All used clothing donations must be washed, dried, and placed into plastic bags before donation to protect the health and safety of their clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Coordinate with PATH San Diego to collect and distribute clothing and shoes
  • Recruit and manage a team of volunteers to assist with clothing and shoe collection
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase clothing and shoe donations

**About PATH (People Assisting the Homeless):**

PATH is a leading organization in the fight against homelessness, providing affordable housing and supportive services throughout California.

**Requirements:**

  • Age Minimum: 18+
