Industrial Coating Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Industrial Coating Specialist to join our team at Galbreath, LLC in Winamac, IN. As an Industrial Coating Specialist, you will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to various surfaces using airless paint finishing systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean grease and dirt from products to ensure a smooth coating process.
- Apply masking tape to areas that should not be coated to prevent overspray.
- Fills cavities and dents with putty to achieve a uniform surface.
- Select and mix coating liquids to produce the desired color.
- Pour coating liquid into spray containers and connect guns to air hoses.
- Regulate the width and pressure of the spray using sprayer valves and nozzles.
- Apply prime or finish coats to surfaces using the airless paint finishing system.
- Clean spraying equipment and brushes with solvents after each use.
To be successful in this role, you should have less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
