Job Overview

Wastequip, a leading manufacturer of waste handling equipment, is seeking an Assembly Specialist to join our team in Winamac, IN. As an Assembly Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing operation by fabricating steel parts and tools.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate steel and other metal parts according to work orders and blueprints.
• Operate various machinery, including press brakes and shears, to cut and shape metal components.
• Inspect workpieces to ensure accurate dimensions and quality standards.
• Lift and move heavy materials as needed.

Requirements

• 1+ years of prior production experience.
• Prior experience operating a press brake and/or shear.
• Understanding of basic CNC controls and ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
