Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

At Miniat Holdings LLC, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment, facilities, and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Utilize your electrical and mechanical skills to diagnose and repair production equipment, including HVAC, boilers, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration systems, blenders, processing, and packaging equipment.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Complete routine maintenance procedures to prevent equipment downtime and ensure efficient operation.
  • Safe and Efficient Work Environment: Ensure all duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Provide mechanical maintenance information to production workers, answer questions, and respond to requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Continuous Learning: Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and updating certified skill levels to stay current with industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Able to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff.
  • Experience: Minimum three to five years related maintenance experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Broad knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, AC drives, VFDs, and PLCs.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift in excess of 40 pounds daily, tolerate extreme temperatures, and operate a variety of hand and power tools on a frequent basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • GMP, HACCP, and USDA Regulations: Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and USDA regulations preferred.
  • Bilingual: Bilingual preferred.
