Job Description

The Customer Service Representative will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our auctions by providing exceptional support to our customers. This includes registering bidders, answering inquiries, processing payments, and other sale-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process bidder payments and ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Provide customers with information regarding fee structures and methods of payment
  • Offer step-by-step guidance on registering online and directing customers to our auxiliary platforms and services
  • Provide additional support for our key room and maintain confidentiality of all information
  • Ensure superior customer service is delivered to all customers at all times
  • File and photocopy as required, and maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Comfortable with using Word and Excel, and provide additional administrative support as needed by different departments
  • Answer phones and customer courtesy calls post-sale, and actively support the company's commitment to safety
Requirements:
  • Previous work experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service
  • Experience using computers and ability to learn new technology and software
  • Excellent keyboarding skills for data entry, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
  • Able to work well in high-pressure situations, maintain a positive attitude, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask, with a friendly, outgoing, and patient personality
  • Able to work as part of a team, pitch in wherever needed, and maintain a high degree of personal integrity
