Clinical Unit Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Clinical Unit Supervisor for our Medical Surgical and Telemetry Nursing care unit. As a Clinical Unit Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized patient-centered care, while also managing the unit's operations and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and direct the delivery of patient care, ensuring that it is safe, effective, and efficient.
- Assign and coordinate the work of nursing staff, including delegating tasks and responsibilities.
- Develop and implement unit-specific policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered care goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff.
- Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing, with at least one (1) year of Clinical Unit Supervisor experience.
- Current California Nursing license.
- Certification in Medical/Surgical Nursing preferred.
- Basic EKG Competence.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish).
- Basic computer skills.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
